Manocci. 9 I (of IV)
One of the earliest contemporary impressions of the first state (of IV) which is characterised by the striking plate tone and according to Mannocci by the branches clearly visible against the sky in the polished area at the tree in the center of the print. In a very good condition. Due to its characteristics an early impression of greatest rarity.

Un des beaux livres illustrés du 17ème siècle.

Vollard and Roussel's L'Album de Paysage, which was to consist of 12 different color lithographs each in an edition of 100, was never published (see Johnson 134). Four of the 12 plates in the suite are known only in proof impressions. Salomon 15.
