Bonne épreuve en tirage postérieur sur vergé du XIXe s., rognée au coup de planche et au-dessus de la tablette. Petit manque en pied et déchirure en travers du sac au premier plan. Traces de colle aux bords du feuillet au verso.
Il s agit de la première gravure que Callot indique comme étant de sa composition (en y inscrivant son In. pour Invenit).
