Thread margins. Second state (of 5), with Callot's name lower right, but before Israel's address. Lorraine cross watermark (which Lieure notes for the earliest impressions of Callot's etchings). A very good, well-inked, early impression with strong contrasts; scarce in this early state. 

With--Le Bataille, etching, circa 1633. Second state (of 3). Lieure 668 and 1341.

Small margins. Third state (of 5). Large eagle watermark (Lieure 60). A superb, dark, richly-inked and early impression of this important etching, with all the details distinct, with little to no sign of wear and with crisp, partially inky plate edges. Lieure 1416.

 Thread margins. Third state C (of C) (of 4), with the curving scratch across the mountain lower center. Ex-collection Jules Michelin (Lugt 1490; acquired from the D. G. de Arozarena collection, see Lugt 109, his sale Clement, Paris, 1861, according to an inscription in ink, verso). A very good impression of this scarce etching with strong contrasts and little to no sign of wear. Mannocci 34.

Large bunch of grapes with a curving stalk watermark (Griffiths/Hartley 11, which they cite for this print). Trimmed on or just inside the plate mark upper and lower edges, thread margin left edge, small margin right edge. A very good, dark and early impression of this extremely scarce print, with all the fine details, including the dot-manner shading, distinct. 

Griffiths/Hartley list 7 impressions in public collections. We have found only 7 other impressions at auction in the past 30 years. Griffiths/Hartley 13.
